Food nice,very noisy 12.5% added on to bill at the end a bit steep seeing as the wine was just plonged down on edge of table I would have expected better service fir the prices paid

We booked Pilchards for our last night and were not disappointed. It was lovely! Very attentive staff, who explained the menu, food was excellent, especially the red prawns and the strawberry Eton mess was superb!We will definitely return on our next visit.

The restaurant focuses on all kinds of seafood and fresh fish are shipped from Cornwall every day. I recommend you try the fat oysters with lemon juice and green chili sauce, smooth and tender flounder, lobster rice with orange and basil, and don&rsquo;t forget to ask what the Special is that day, maybe you can hit what surprise dishes!
